Emily Barton

Licensed Mental Health Counselor · Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (Postpartum Support International)

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience working with individuals during some of the most difficult times of their lives. After graduating from Southern New Hampshire University with my Master’s degree in Community Mental Health, I followed my heart in working with patients in a community mental health setting. During my graduate work and studies I spent much time working with victims of domestic violence, therapeutic mentoring and volunteering for Girls on the Run. I have provided supportive Emergency Services and Crisis Therapy wherein I assessed patients in crisis and connected them to needed interventions whether inpatient stabilization or outpatient care. I spent 13 years of my career working in crisis mental health care, and it was there that I discovered my passion for perinatal mental health.

I am highly trained and experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Grief and Trauma support, and in 2019 I was certified in Perinatal Mental Health Counseling through Postpartum Support International. Through my Perinatal Clinic, I have provided compassionate care for pregnant and new mothers during all stages of pregnancy and the post part period.

The training I have received in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders includes assessment and psychotherapeutic approaches to treatment with advanced issues, grief and loss as it relates to perinatal mental health and evidenced based psychotherapeutic tools to address symptoms of perinatal mental health disorders.

I utilize compassionate regard to support individuals in their journey of self exploration, identifying their strengths and resiliencies, and embracing their best version of themselves.

Samantha Pasciuto

I have a background rooted in community mental health, crisis response, and working with individuals and families navigating some of life’s most overwhelming and vulnerable moments. My work has allowed me to support those who spend much of their lives under pressure while carrying responsibilities that others may not fully understand. My clinical experience has been shaped in settings where people often come in at their breaking point, when things feel too heavy, too complicated, or too painful to hold alone. Over the course of my work, I have supported individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and trauma-informed practice, while also identifying how I can understand and support the whole person. I believe that emotional, physical, relational, and environmental factors all shape how we move through the world.

In sessions, I focus on helping clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their own resilience. My work is centered on helping people feel more grounded, more understood, and more capable of moving forward in a way that feels sustainable and authentic to them.
